Certified Translation Services

A certified translation is a translation generally done for educational institutions, legal or governmental purposes. These documents may include but are not limited to:

  • Birth and Death certificates
  • Marriage certificates and Divorce decrees
  • Degrees, Diplomas, Transcripts, etc.

Every country has its own requirements when it comes to certifying documents after translation. Please be sure to specify the country your document is intended for and we’ll be happy to ensure that we find the appropriate professional for your job.

While most countries have a specific list of government-authorised translators for these purposes, a certified translation in the United States has to have the following three parts:

The source document (copy) in the original language

The translated document in the target language

An affidavit signed by the translator or translation company representative, with his or her signature notarized by a Notary Public, attesting that the translator or translation company representative believes the target language text to be an accurate and complete translation of the original language text.

We’ll send you an electronic copy via email and a hard copy via international courier such as Fedex, DHL, or UPS. If you have a customer ID with one of these curriers, they can bill you directly for this additional service, otherwise we’ll include it in your invoice.
